Great Tips For Removing Pet Urine Stains From Carpets

If you own a small animal and keep it in your home then like it or not, you have pet urine stains somewhere on your carpets. One problem you may have is that your nose has become acclimated to them and this particularly holds true if you smoke cigarettes. However; you can rest well assured that your guests can smell them but none would ever be rude so rude as to to comment.

Use a Black Light

Pet urine stains can be difficult to find particularly on darker colored carpet. One of ether best methods for finding these hidden stains in your carpet is by using a “black light”. If you don’t know where to find one, just look online because there are several sources for them.

Vacuum First

After you have located the pet urine stains in your carpet then it is time to begin tactical operations to remove them and also their odor. The first thing that you will want to do is vacuum the area of the stain thoroughly. Then mix a teaspoon of automatic dish washing detergent into a glass of water and stir until it is completely resolved.

Pour it On

Pour this solution around the edges of the stain first and work your way into the stains center until the area is completely soaked. Then use a clean white cotton towel or plain white paper towels to blot up the solution. After you have blotted up all that you can, place the towel or towels over the stain and step on them to draw up the residual moisture.

Use a Fan to Dry the Area

Your next step will be to use a half and half mixture of water and white vinegar to repeat the process. After this is done, cover the area liberally with baking soda and allow to dry overnight. If you live in a humid climate, you may want to use a fan to help with the drying process. It is important to remember that your pet will still be able to smell the urine in the carpet even after you have cleaned it and any places that your pet has previously soiled will be prime targets for future wetting sites.

Sue Devitt Triple C-weed Foundation - Tanami

Sue Devitt Triple C-weed Foundation - Tanami Not the Holy Grail of Foundation for Oily Skin - Michelle Dean - BEND, OR United States
Okay ladies - I was looking for the Holy Grail Foundation and pressed powder for years and I finally decided to take a break from makeup mineral powder like my face was not responding to it anymore. So I searched and searched online and after many reviews I read this book and thought I would give it a try.

The consistency is good, but it does not go well on my face, even after trying several different approaches 1) Put a light moisturizer first –does not mix well 2) Put on Stila "Clean Slate" at first, yet do not mix well 3) Put on anything in advance - yeah, you guessed it, Stil do not mix well.

I am extrememly oily skin and I'm not exactly clear skin, but not a definitive way either. It was my opinion that the color of sand would be perfect. Noooo, I was completely staggered. I believe that small samples of colors are too bright on this site. The color I received, what is right, would be great if it was in the middle ofsummer and I had a tan.

I decided not to allow the color being a factor, I would just use it sparingly. Well, then the situation does not mix together foiled my plan.

Had I sent the product back and received the right shade of my face, my opinion would be different? No, I'm going to bore you …. after I tried to get it to blend, then tried the powder and my normal eye, lip, the routine plays, I leave the house usually within 5 minutes to complete this task andbegin my journey 20 minutes. Oh my gosh, when I had to work, my face was an oil slick.

I think this product would do well on someone with normal skin, but I can not recommend it to anyone with very oily skin.

Another problem … It's a bit expensive.

I took a risk two weeks ago on Revlon Colorstay for oily skin. I think my search is over …. Well, at least until my skin decides it does not want me to use this new product. It will happen one day afterI go out and buy a new bottle of it, you'll see!
I have been using this foundaiton for about 2 years now. He has some outstanding problems, but my skin is the least of my problems, I also discovered that if I apply it, then let dry and then lightly go over my face with a clean brush face, he rid of the streaking that occurs when you apply. Because of problems with acne and sensitive skin I can not use most of foundations out there (not to mention hair sprays, perfumes, etc. ..) This foundation works well for me because that itreduces the red in my skin (I use Tanami) and it does not cause me to erupt. I also have a sensitivity to titanium dioxide and foundtions most others contain rather than in large amounts. Sue Devitt: FDN-30101-TAN Exquisitely smooth whipped texture dramatically evens out skin’s imperfection while locking in moisture, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Homemade Recipes for Carpet Shampoo

Hiring a professional to clean your carpets can be expensive. Many people own carpet shampooers and they are able to clean their carpets more frequently than those who have to hire someone to do the job. The manufacturers of carpet cleaning machines recommend using only their products to clean your floors, and they often charge more than $10 per bottle of carpet shampoo so it isn’t surprising they suggest that you use their products.

Homemade recipes for carpet shampoo can save money while helping you to keep your floors clean. As with commercial carpet shampoos you should test a small inconspicuous area first to make sure you aren’t going to stain or damage the carpet - this is very important! Different carpets are made with varying materials and cleaning solutions work differently on each kind of carpet fiber. There are many different recipes for homemade carpet shampoo and various cleaning tips using household items instead of shampoo. Some recipes work better on one type of stain than another.

When your carpet does get soiled it is important to remove as much of the matter immediately. For wet messes you should blot the carpet dry with paper toweling as soon as possible. Dry messes should be picked up and swept or vacuumed up immediately. Once you have picked up the mess as much as possible you can use one of the following cleaning solutions.

Homemade Recipes for Carpet Shampoo

General Recipes

• Club soda will work for many stains, after blotting the stain soak with club soda and blot until the stain is gone.

• A mixture of one part borax and two parts baking soda or corn starch can be used to clean up messes in carpets. After cleaning the mess with paper toweling as well as you can, sprinkle the borax mixture liberally and rub in to remove stains and odors. Allow to stand for an hour then vacuum clean.

• For use in carpet cleaning machines a mixture of liquid soap (castile soap, dish soap, or laundry soap all will work) and vinegar. Use one tablespoon each of vinegar and liquid soap for each quart of water. This can also be put in a spray bottle to be applied directly to the carpet.

• A mixture of one part liquid laundry soap (non-bleach type) and one part liquid fabric softener and six parts water can be used to clean and deodorize carpets. This can be put in a spray bottle and applied directly to the carpet or you can use this in your carpet cleaning machine.

Ink Stains

• As soon as you notice an ink stain you should attempt to blot up excess ink without smearing it into the rest of the carpet. Cream of Tartar and lemon juice will remove ink. First sprinkle cream of tartar onto the ink stain then add a couple drops of lemon juice and rub gently, taking care not to smear the stain into the rest of the carpet. Once the stain disappears vacuum the excess cream of tartar.

• Isopropyl alcohol can remove ink stains. Use in a well ventilated area. Pour the alcohol onto the stain and gently blot until the ink disappears. Take care not to smear the ink into other areas of the carpet while removing the original stain.

Blood

• Cold water works best on blood stains, especially if you can treat the stain immediately. Club soda works well also.

• Hydrogen peroxide will remove blood stains from your carpet and from clothing. You can pour peroxide directly on the stain and it will bubble up and disappear. Rinse well with clear water.

Grease/Oily Stains

• Baking soda or corn starch can remove grease/oily stains. First remove as much of the oil (use paper towels and throw them away if possible) then sprinkle either baking soda or corn starch liberally over the soiled area. Rub in and leave overnight to give enough time for the oils to be absorbed. Vacuum the residue the next day.

It is possible to damage your carpet so you should always treat a very small inconspicuous area to test any treatment before using on the whole carpet.

Catholic Wedding Music - Beautiful Choices for a Beautiful Day

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Catholic wedding music is valued because it helps the congregation pray together. As St. Augustine said, “He who sings, prays twice.”

Remember that a Catholic wedding is a celebration of the Catholic mass, so Catholic wedding music should be prayerful and beautiful. The wedding is regarded as a mystical, magnificent Eucharistic liturgy which is a sacred event. The church may have a preset selection of music that is to be used at weddings, although the couple is usually allowed some leeway for their own choices.

Classical music works well as Catholic wedding music because of its beauty and reverence. In short, pieces by J.S. Bach, Pachel, Handel, and Mozart are excellent choices. Can contemporary songs be included? This is up to the individual church. The music must meet the guidelines outlined before of beauty and celebrating the sacredness of the marriage vows.

Segments of the Catholic wedding include…

  • Prelude
  • Candle Lighting
  • Processional Music for Bridesmaid
  • Processional of the Bride
  • Responsorial Psalm
  • Offertory Song
  • Communion Song
  • Communion Mediation
  • Presentation of Gifts
  • Communion
  • Recessional

Hymns are sung just as for any service occurring in the church. The words of the hymns must convey the love of God and the permanence of the marriage bond. These hymns can be found in the church’s hymnal, and some suggestions are…

  1. Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart)
  2. Panis Angelicus (Franck)
  3. Soul of My Savior
  4. Jesus, My Lord, My God, My All

Catholic wedding music often frowns on the popular “Here Comes the Bride” and “Wedding March.” Why? This music originates in operas and ballets, and thus not regarded as sacred. Many classical choices exist that are just as beautiful, if not more so than these traditional selections.

Most Catholic parishes have a music specialist available who will help you select the music for your service. That person will work with you to be sure the holiness of the ceremony is maintained, while integrating your wishes as much as possible. Financial compensation is expected for the services of the organist and cantor, as well as any other musicians hired for the wedding service. Check with your parents regarding the music played at their weddings; incorporating those selections in your wedding would be a beautiful way to honor them.

If you would like to include a different instrumental ensemble, such as a string quartet, discuss this with the church’s music minister. Your ensemble should have arrangements for the selections that are to be played, of course. You may even want to include the church choir in your wedding ceremony.

For People Suffering From Allergies, Carpet Cleaning May Be the Answer

Arizona’s arid climate has long been a refuge for people who suffer from allergies. This is because unlike other areas of the country that have more humid climates there tends to be less of the most common allergens such as mold and pollen there. However; this does not mean that Arizona’s cities are completely devoid of these irritants. This means that even if you reside in Temple carpet cleaning is something that you may want to consider.

Carpets Tend to Hold Allergens

The problem with rugs and carpets is that once an allergen has landed in or on them, it will tend to stay put. In fact, what will happen is that these allergens will work their way down into the carpet until you walk on it, which will tend to release them into your living environment.

Dust in Temple Carpet Cleaning is the Solution

Dust is a common allergen and it is one that you should be concerned with even in an arid climate. Keeping your home well sealed will help to keep most dust out, but over time, small amounts can find their way in which will settle into your carpet.

Pollen in Arid Climates

Another common allergen that you may not think is present in your home is pollen. Even in Temple carpet cleaning is occasionally required to remove the small amounts that will blow in during the springtime. Even a relatively small amount of pollen lodged deep in your carpet can cause you irritation of you are allergic to it.

Pets Foster Dust Mites

Dust mites are present in all areas of the country. If you have any pets then you can rest assured that there are dust mites residing in your carpet. Vacuuming will help somewhat but it won’t remove all of the dust mites that have migrated to the deepest reaches of your carpet. If your allergies are still occasionally bothering you even in the arid climate of Temple carpet cleaning may bring the relief you have been looking for.

How to Attract Beautiful Women

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Beautiful women, they are the sexy goddess that we have to face each and every day but can only dream of being together with them. But is it really true that beautiful women are ‘reserved’ only for those handsome looking guys who are rich, tall, muscular and educated? Or are they only for people who are famous and on the celebrity list like Brad Pitt? The fact of the matter is, yes most beautiful women or even not so good-looking women will fall head over heels for such guys; yet you have to understand there are much more to attractive women than just good looks and being rich and famous.

1. Confidence

Confidence that oozes so naturally from guys is the key to impressing girls. Alpha males are always thought to be more attractive to women than guys who are more passive in their mindset. Thus when approaching a woman, especially a beautiful woman, it is crucial to be confident in yourself and not be intimidated because of her beauty. Sometimes there are guys who are so stunned by a woman’s beauty that he is unable to strike up a normal conversation and thus becomes a turn off for the woman. Let her know that you are interested in her and who she is, not just because she is beautiful.

2. Be yourself and not conform to her

You have got to understand that basically beautiful women would have been approached more than once and they are definitely not going to be impressed if you are going to do what other guys have been doing to her in the past. Being beautiful entitles them to have what they want as most guys who are lost their senses to her beauty would do anything and everything for her. What you can do instead is to tease her and ‘attack’ her in a way where it does not seem arrogant and still has a tinge of humor in it. Be different and it shows especially when you pull it off confidently. But do not overdo it, or it will just make yourself look bad.

3. Follow up with your first encounter

For most of these beautiful women, they club, go for parties and meet tons of guys everyday, so how special will you be if you are just going to be a one-time fling? Flirting with her can arouse her and make her more attracted to you, but it just is not about that one night stand. Get her number and call her out for dates; make her feel special but never once compromising on your alpha male status which is what attracts her. Gifts and flowers can follow but most importantly, you have got to make sure that your first meeting is not going to be your last meeting as well.

Beautiful women are still women and they love to be pampered. But being beautiful means that they have the right to be pampered by guys all around them; so be special! Yes, continue to give gifts and flowers and praise, but do it with something more that leaves an impeccable impression so they will remember you.
