Essential Dog Training Tools

With so many different dog training tools on the market sometimes it is hard to know what to buy to help train your beloved pets. It is easy to get lost on the hundreds of links and different items you need or want for you dog. Below are some essential tools that will make life helpful as you start to training your dog. Here I go over three items I believe will help and I cover why.

The first dog training tool that we will look at is a dog collar and a leash. When you get a dog, in many states, you have to register you animal and they usually give you a name tag. The tag provides a great way of identifying your dog and you as the owner in case your dog runs off and goes missing. You will need a strong collar to put the tag on and when walking your dog you will need a leash. In my state we have a lease law and you have to keep your pets on a leash at all times. Having a leash makes it much easier to keep you dog from running wild and in control. Many of the training books will use the leash and collar in different training settings.

The second item I want to go over is a dog house or dog kennel. Just like us our dogs need a sense of home. A place to call their own, a small place they can go to. Another and more important reason to buy a dog crate is for transporting our pet around. It is absolutely important to keep our dog safe and to make sure it does not harm others when we are moving about in our vehicles or other means of transportation. For airplanes you should call your local airport and find out what type of crate they recommend. When training your dog it will be a good place to send him when guest come over or need your pup in a safe place.

The last piece of equipment I want to cover is dog toys. Dog toys are very useful in dog training because it helps keep the attention our pet as we go through training. Another good reason is to teach or pet to play with the toy and not our belongings. I have had dogs bite and chew on just about everything inside the house. Outside too, they might even dig houses because they have nothing else to play with. I would recommend finding a toy that will suit the size of your dog. Dog toys come in all shapes and sizes and you will have to test which one works best for you pet.

Carpet Cleaning : Sure-Fire Tips

There’s no question that your daily or weekly vacuuming makes your carpet look fresh and newer but it’s not enough to protect your carpet from dirt, debris, and oily film deposits that go with this debris. You can’t avoid the oily debris. It comes from cooking vapor, the air, the bottoms of your feet, your pets, and a host of other places. So you’ll need to clean your carpets regularly. Follow these carpet cleaning tips to get the best job done.

Clean Frequently

Carpets should be cleaned every 12 months. This ensures that the oil film doesn’t get so thick it discolors your carpets. If you live by yourself or there’s just two of you then every 18 months will probably be suffice. If there is more than 5 of you then you’ll probably need to do your carpets every 6 months.

Hiring A Professional

You should consider hiring a professional to clean your carpets. A professional cleaner is trained, that’s why he or she is a professional and they will know which type of cleaning is best for your carpet. The professional will come with a heavy duty hot water extraction system which will be used to spray your carpets with water and detergent and then to suck back the water and oil into a tank in their vehicle.

Do It Yourself

If you decide to rent a steam cleaning machine and do your own carpets you need to realize that the rental equipment is not nearly as powerful as the pro’s equipment so you won’t get as deep a clean. You also need to realize that some of these machines can damage your carpet so be sure you know what you are renting.

Powerless Retail Rentals

Choose your retail rental carpet cleaner carefully because many of these lack power meaning you might land up with a carpet that’s too wet and not enough power to suck the water up. This could end up damaging your carpet. Make sure you do your research and that you know what you are renting

Easy On The Water

Pretend like there’s a water shortage and use water sparingly. If you use too much water and your carpets are wet for more than 24 hours you can develop mold and mildew growth which is bad for your health. Never mind those interesting odors that seep out of the carpet.

Leave No Trace

Choose a solution that leaves no or little residue behind. The PH of the cleaning solution should be around 9 and it should always be less than 10. If you are left with that sticky residue your carpets will pick up more residue and pick it up quicker.

Wool Carpets

Wool carpets are different than the synthetic blends. They require a special solution that is designed for wool and the natural fibers. Make sure the solutions PH is no higher than 8 and no lower than 5.

Stop The Stains

If your carpets are already treated with a stain resistant treatment you need you use a cleaner that’s designed to work with this treatment. Any other cleaner will destroy the stainguard treatment already on the carpets which could cause discoloration and void the warranty.

Less Dry Time

After you’ve cleaned your carpet places fans around the room to push air across the carpet. This will reduce the time it takes to dry the carpets and the risk of mold and mildew. If you have a dehumidifier use it to pull the moisture out. An air conditioner will also pull moisture out. Your carpet should be dry in 12 hours or less.

Following these carpet cleaning tips will have your carpets looking fresh and clean and it will extend their life. Carpets are expensive so the longer you can make them last the better!

‘This Place’ Original song

watch high quality www.youtube.com I wrote this ages ago and re-recorded it. It’s got a nice half time groove and I like using these chords. There’s a drum track, 2 guitar tracks, bass track and a vocal track recorded on Pro Tools. I used a dynamic 58 for the vocal, as I was quietly monitoring live thru the studio speakers so I didn’t have to wear cans for the vocal take, I find it much easier to find the pitch without cans. The song is about a typical relationship break up, I remember looking round at the imprints of furniture that was left on my carpet after my girlfriend moved out, it was most of her furniture unfortunately. So, my life became just as empty as my house. Years later, I wrote this while thinking about that incident while I was on nightshift as a security guard, wrote this at about 4am in the middle of a pitch black construction site, sitting in my car with my guitar, while my sausages were cooking on the barbecue and the place was being robbed of its generators and push bikes, there’s possibly a song in that. Ha! lyrics “This Place’ by Dean Wuksta I am wise To all the things that you can do A burning question will compell you If I’m wrong Will be the millionth time this year It’s a burden let me tell you (CHORUS) Cause I know Somethings wrong And I don’t have a, little thing to say “I know we get on, But how can I stay in this place?” You won’t decide The fact that you cannot agree Burns inside I’m left behind Take some time You’re missing out on so much

Hoover self-propelled PowerMax upright

I bought this Hoover PowerMax upright brand new back in 1989 iirc. It was Hoovers top of the line model and based on the previous Hoover Concept.. In my opinion it is the last of the quality vacuum cleaners Hoover made. Even though it contains a lot of plastic it is pretty sturdy and very heavy. Almost impossible for many woman to lift. Some of the features are the adjustable pile height, on-board tools, automatic tool conversion, self-propelled, variable electronic motor speed, power surge, chrome metal wands, and adjustable air freshener. The biggest drawback other than the weight of the machine is the extreme and I do mean extreme noise it makes. It’s so loud as you can tell by the video that it makes vacuuming rather unpleasant and a chore you want to get done with quickly. No it doesn’t need oiling or greasing, they were all this loud from the factory. It’s biggest plus is that it is probably the absolute best carpet cleaner bar none. I’ve not used any other vacuum other than a Concept that equals its carpet cleaning performance.

Easy Mattress Cleaning

A good type of mattress is believed to be an expensive investment. However making such a expensive investment makes sense, so that you can actually learn the way of taking good care of these mattresses. Unluckily, accidents happen, particularly if you are the kind of person, who loves to have his or her breakfast in bed or if there are small children in your house who aren’t yet potty trained.

The question that arises here is that, how can we clean the mattresses that are placed over our beds?

The first and the most important thing that you can do is you can keep away your mattresses from the spills or the dust. Do not make use of those rubber sheets as these sheets are really very uncomfortable. Most of the people are not able to have a quality sleep on these bunches of plastic sheets. However people who are having small children in their house, prefer making use of these sheets, as these sheets are easy to clean, and don’t even get wet.

You can make use of the vacuum cleaners, in order to clean your mattresses. This is the advanced technology that is being used now days. Manufacturers of these mattresses suggest or recommend their customers to make use of suction pressure of vaccuum cleaners. You should clean it with a vaccuum machine even if your mattress doesn’t appear to be unclean, because there is a large storage of mites in the mattresses that are very unhygienic.

These vacuum cleaners have proved to be really very effective in cleaning the dust or the mites that have been present inside your mattresses. You should not clean your mattresses with water, as the material that is present inside these mattresses is destroyed, if it is soaked in water.

If there has been a spill or by an accident some thing has fallen on to it, then make use of chemical agents, which are responsible for working as a stain removing agent. These mattresses are not able to deal with these chemical agents.

Rather you can do one thing; you can soak a ball of cotton in water and can rub that on the surface of stain.

For proper maintenance of you mattresses, you should keep them in sun shade once a while, as its really very important.

How to Seduce a Beautiful Woman in 3 Easy Steps

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Step 1: It sounds cliché but the number one tip is: have a great sense of humour.

Laughter is the key to any woman’s heart (and bed!) Make her laugh and you will be instantly more attractive to her. Laughter releases endorphins and is a well known aphrodisiac. Also, a sense of humour reveals intelligence and women love that in men. If she is laughing she is more relaxed, more comfortable and more likely to be open towards you. You might think that it’s difficult but with practice it will become like second nature. The important thing to remember is to laugh with the girl not at her. And don’t just tell jokes that you read in some magazine, make situational jokes about your surroundings, about something funny that you saw.. And if you’re stuck, or if there’s an uncomfortable silence, laugh and she will laugh with you.

Step 2: Women love to talk: let her talk

It’s no myth that women love to talk. If you’re talking about yourself all the way through the date and she doesn’t get a word in edgeways, you’re going nowhere, trust me. What you need to do is ask questions and listen. Pick up on her response and formulate a new question. It’s called ‘piggy backing’. So when she finishes her sentence, repeat part of what she said and formulate it into a new question. I’ll give you an example:

She: “I saw a great film the other day…”

You: “Film?”

She: “Yeah, it was about a boy and a girl, beautiful love story..”

You: “Beautiful love story?”

She: “Yeah, they were kept apart by her evil uncle..”

You: “Evil uncle? How…”

She: “Well, he…”

You get my drift. The more she talks and the more you listen, the more comfortable and intimate she will become.

Step 3: have a strong personality

Women need men to have strong personalities, to entertain them and to provide them with that subconscious need for protection. Show her your big masculine personality by presenting yourself as a strong man. Make your life out to be an adventure. Talk about your hobbies and be excited by them. Talk about your life plans and your great hopes for the future.

After my wife left me my world fell apart. I didn’t know how I was going to recover. I felt alone, unwanted, rejected. I was inconsolable. After about a year and after a lot of cajoling from my friends I decided to join the dating world again, to look for a new woman. By this time I had not had sex in over a year and a half! Can you imagine the frustration..

My ex-wife was my childhood sweetheart. We’d met when we were both 15 and, to be honest, I never had to do any running around. We grew up and it just happened, naturally. I found myself completely lost in the world of dating. It’s as if I had two left feet. Everything coming out of my mouth was awkward. Women were practically running away from me! I was introduced to the Guy Gets Girl System by a gym buddy and I have not had any problems picking up women since. It’s as if scales fell from my eyes. I saw everything that I was doing wrong, I understood that the problems lied in the way I perceived myself and the world. I learnt skills that I will never lose and I feel like I have been given the greatest gift. The gift to approach and seduce practically any woman I want. Guys, give it a go, you have no idea what you’re missing!
